We picked up a flash BMW M3 from SIXT at Newcastle Airport for our 5 hour round trip in country NSW. Shortly after leaving the depot, we noticed a red warning light on the console that turned out to be a brake system issue. The handbook said that we could "drive moderately" with such a warning - get real, it s a BMW!! We returned to the depot and without any fuss, the SIXT staff traded us into another M3. On top of that, they told us to not bother refueling the car on return as compensation for the inconvenience. That is excellent customer recovery and so nice to see a big company empower its front line staff to make such decisions. There s a saying in customer service, that everyone is going to drop the ball - the secret is how quickly you can pick it up again. And in this instance, SIXT were very speedy! Well done and thank you.

The car we remted was clean and reliable. The staff at the hire desl was imformative and made us feel like a valued customer. He took the time to share the local knowledge and best tourist spots in the area we would be staying. The whole ordeal was pleasant and eelaxing

I always have great customer service from using Sixt car rental, that is why I always pick them over others when making a booking. I have used others in the oat. They look after me and I especially like it when I get upgraded to a better car which is fantastic .

Was given a fully electric car. Nice car and ran really well but being able to find locations to charge was difficult and added time to our journey trying to locate places. One charging station required our own plug. Both leads in the car were for power point charging only.
