I had previously booked with Hertz at Beziers Arport as it was the only desk that would be open at the time we arrived at the airport. It was very expensive but I had no other choice. Nearer to the time, I searched again and came across Economy Bookings. I was amazed to find how much cheaper their car hire prices were. The Alamo car I booked through them saved me well over £100. I had previously looked into renting from Alamo but as I mentioned earlier, a few months prior to booking, their desk opening hours were not compatible with our flight arrival time. On the day of pick-up, our car hire experience was very positive - clear instructions and the car was clean and in very good condition. Due to an early flight time on return, we were able to leave the car key in a drop-off box.
The staff at the airport were really helpful. Once we returned with the initial car and they checked the vehicle over, they apologized and gave us a replacement vehicle without any quibble. Upon return, the staff remembered our issues and made sure we were happy with the service they had given and the replacement vehicle.
Overall was very good,only downside was quite a bit of damage on car when I collected it,but wasn t really a problem for what I used it for.
It was a bit messy at the drop on/off at Enterprise and it was noticeable that they had few cars on site. We had booked a smaller car with an automatic and it wasn t available but they offered us a bigger car with an automatic for the same money. So for us it went well and have nothing to complain about!
